Mobile
Stations

by Rework Berlin

Imagine interactive sustainability stations embedded directly into the energy of live sport — fan zones, tournament grounds, matchday events. Fans bring old jerseys, worn-out sportswear, and forgotten merchandise. With guidance and professional equipment, they repair, redesign, and transform these textiles into something personal and lasting. Each session is both a creative act and an encounter with the realities of textile production, synthetic fibers, and circular economy practices.

About Rework Berlin

A portable, fully equipped upcycling workshop designed for sports events. Set up inside fan zones, tournament villages, or community sports days, each station gives participants the tools and guidance to work directly with discarded sports textiles.

The experience combines creative participation with sustainability education. Fans don't just hear about circularity — they practice it. Every garment repaired, redesigned, or customized is a tangible act of sustainability that participants take home.

The Process

01Event Setup
A mobile workshop station is installed directly at the sports venue — inside a fan zone, tournament area, or community event space. Everything needed is self-contained and ready to go.
02Collection
Fans bring their own worn, outdated, or unused sports textiles. Additional materials from club overstock or event merchandise are provided on-site.
03Transformation
Guided by experienced facilitators, participants repair, redesign, and customize garments using accessible textile techniques. Every piece becomes one of a kind.
04Learning
Participants engage with the story behind their materials — synthetic fibers, production cycles, and what circularity looks like in practice.
